Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of BurgleBear (“we”, “us”), including the mobile app and website. By creating an account or using BurgleBear, you agree to these Terms.

The service

BurgleBear helps you track recurring bills, sends due-date reminders, and generates scripts to help you negotiate lower rates with providers. We don't make calls or negotiate on your behalf, and we don't guarantee any provider will reduce your rate.

Subscriptions & billing

  • BurgleBear Monthly and BurgleBear Annual are auto-renewing subscriptions.
  • New subscriptions include a 30-day free trial. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, you'll be charged for the plan you selected.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account (if purchased via the App Store) or via Stripe (if purchased on the web) at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price you agreed to.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in your Apple ID account settings (for App Store purchases) or from the Account page in the app (for web purchases).
  • No refunds are provided for partial billing periods, except where required by law or Apple's refund policies.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use BurgleBear.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no reverse engineering, scraping, reselling access, or using BurgleBear for anything unlawful. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Disclaimer & liability

BurgleBear is provided “as is”. Negotiation scripts and savings estimates are informational and not guaranteed. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes

If these Terms change materially, we'll update the effective date above and, for significant changes, notify you by email.
